Accreditation

Evergreen Hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission (JCAHO), the nation’s oldest and largest health care accrediting body. JCAHO surveyors perform a rigorous inspection of Evergreen Hospital, Evergreen Home Care Services, Evergreen Hospice Services and the Evergreen Medical Group every three years, with the most recent occurring in 2009.

The Washington State Department of Health also conducts a multi-day survey every three years as part of Evergreen's license renewal process. They review the quality of both the clinical services and the facility, and interview staff, patients and their families. The most recent survey was completed in late 2007.
